I was born and raised in the beautiful alpine town of Queenstown, New Zealand.
Growing up, I embraced all Queenstown had to offer, whether it be on the ski field or on
the water. When I’m not outside enjoying my natural surroundings, I’m either doing yoga
or dance. I have enjoyed dance my whole life, whether it was taking classes,
grooving to a good tune, or flowing through a vinyasa, my body can’t get enough. My
strong background in dance eventually lead me the art of Yoga. I have always
considered movement a sacred part of my day, explaining my deep connection to yoga.
I fell in love with how Yoga made me feel mentally and physically, it truly is an art. I find
yoga to be empowering and a beautiful way to get connected with my body and soul.
I proudly received my 200 hour Yoga Alliance certification with Lance Schuler from
Inspyayoga in 2011.
In my classes I try to focus on awareness of the body and the integrity in each pose which
can be carried beyond the mat into your daily life. Bringing focus to the breath while
weaving the way through a creative and challenging asana practice.
I invite you to be playful in your practice, remembering that lightness is found in spirit!
