Dynamic Hatha is a blend of static and flowing postures, sometimes using props and sometimes not. It is a freestyle form of teaching that follows the students energies, seasons, and time of day.
Dynamic Hatha is our core Hatha yoga class. It is the best for students wanting to move a bit slower in order to get it right. Dynamic Hatha has pieces of Iyengar, Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow. It is a combination of styles and theories including Pilates and core work.
We focus on the basics of yoga, alignment and breath. Basic classes are good for beginner’s but are also suitable for those needing a workout. All of our classes except the Restorative/Stretch are meant to increase strength. Yoga can be simple but strong. Yoga aligns, strengthens, lengthens and purifies the body. It increases and helps purify circulation as well as the lymphatic system, detoxes internal organs by massaging and moving them, as well as helps to balance chemicals in the body. Yoga helps balance from the inside out.
