We offer Basics and All Level classes. Please get started with the basics before moving on to all levels. Power Yoga is a flow style yoga designed to build strength and endurance and tone the body. It is a cardiovascular style of yoga with mild heat to help you sweat. Bring a towel and water and dress lightly.
The sequence begins with gentle warm up of child’s pose and down dog’s then moves in to Sun Salutations, lunges, triangles and standing balance postures. The work is solid and strong. Be prepared to work hard. The floor series has core strengthening, hip openers, and spinal movement including back bends, forward bends and twists.
The room is warm so be prepared to sweat by dressing lightly. Bring a towel and come hydrated.
