Yin Yoga is a restorative style of yoga with long held, deep stretches. We learn gravity stretches as well as deep, slow, full breathing to support the body and mind. Pranayama (breathing techniques) are always taught in this class.

This Yin Yoga Class will stretch and opens the body with support of bolsters, blankets, blocks and chairs.

This is a good class for students with injuries,  low immune systems, poor breathing and stress.

We also introduce Yoga Nidra in this class.

Yoga Nidra deeply relaxes and rejuvinates the mind with guided meditation in Savasana,  dead body pose.  The meditation takes students from the physical body on a journey of the breath and then in the semi and unconscious alpha state where stress and blocks can be released. It is a very healing and rejuvinating practice.

This class is open to all students of all levels.
